OUTLET does not add advertising trackers, profiling tools or third-party analytics scripts. The website host may process essential technical request data to serve the site and protect its infrastructure.
Pen names and anonymous participation
We accept anonymous or pseudonymous writing and membership expressions of interest, without requiring an explanation. This does not guarantee technical anonymity. Read our privacy participation policy.
Contact, submissions and membership interest
The contact, submission and joining forms remain disabled until secure storage has been configured. Once enabled, information submitted voluntarily (such as your name, email address, interests and message) is stored in Cloudflare D1 so the collective can respond and consider contributions or membership requests. It is not published automatically.
Only people authorized to coordinate the relevant work should access those records. The intake service is configured to remove records older than 180 days when a new message is received; a proper deletion schedule and a public contact address must be confirmed before the forms go live.
Images and external services
Some photographs are loaded from Unsplash's image service. This means the image provider may receive technical request data when your browser loads those images. See our image credits for sources. We may replace remote images with locally hosted copies before launch.
Questions and access requests
Before public launch we will publish a dedicated contact address to handle privacy questions, correction requests, and requests regarding submitted material. This page is a pre-launch privacy notice and should be reviewed before enabling intake.
