Three ways to take part
Your name. Use the name you wish to appear publicly.
A pseudonym. Choose a pen name for your writing or collective participation. You do not have to publish your legal name.
Anonymous. Submit writing with an Anonymous byline or express interest in joining without identifying yourself publicly. You do not need to justify your decision.
Editorial responsibility still matters
We assess writing by its arguments, evidence and connection with our editorial vision. The AI policy applies equally. Where factual claims require clarification or serious allegations need corroboration, we will discuss the material rather than automatically demand a public identity.
Collective participation
Anonymous expressions of interest are welcome. Ongoing publishing or administrative access requires a reliable way to coordinate securely, agree responsibilities and uphold mutual accountability. Public disclosure of a legal name is not required by default, and access is a collective decision.
Privacy limitations
Pseudonyms help with public attribution, but this site cannot guarantee technical anonymity. Our host may process IP addresses and other connection information, and externally loaded images may expose similar information to image providers. Saved drafts remain on your device and may be accessible to others there. OUTLET is not a secure whistleblowing service.
Current form status
Forms are in draft-only mode. Saving a draft downloads a text file locally and sends nothing to the collective. We will explain how secure submissions work when we enable live intake.
